I hear the music of another spectrum
Vibrating on an inner ear
I cannot break it into the plain dimension
Or set it singing in the air
The notes intense move through me
Like the stream flows through my fingers
Like the torrent takes my breath.

Can you not hear the wild music
The wild burning music

And so I hear and feel and cry
While symphonies of tone and touch rush through my mind
It brings pain and intense pleasure
Sometimes a voice translates a measure
I scribe it down
The flame of it expires
But when the singing moves on to another band
I can read the bit I captured and remember --
